The company’s green engineering policy includes Green Building (also known as green construction or sustainable building) This is both a structure and the application of processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building's life-cycle: from planning to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition. The company’s Green Engineering policy is intended to create a healthy living environment through the utilization of natural resources wisely and conservatively. It aims to lessen the amount of pollution that is being generated in a construction site. It is the green engineer’s responsibility to design buildings and landscapes that are focused on the conservation of renewable energy technologies.

The policy requires all company engineers to be knowledgeable about what green engineering is all about. Some of the company strategies of green engineering that can reduce human health risks and damage to the environment include:

  • Making sure that all the finished output will not cost significant environmental impacts
  • Reducing business’ dependence on energy
  • Establishing techniques which will assure safe industrial production

The company uses four basic green engineering approaches to improve processes and products to make them more efficient from an environmental standpoint. These are:
